Race Director's Notes: On the heels of round 5, just a scant few days ago, we're on to round 6. PRG-MBURG23's series lead looks secure, but MR2RAT and PRG_TheJudge have yet to be mathematically eliminated. The rest of the championship podium is still up for grabs, with edminus1, itc42, normal804, and coriracer7 having a chances of standing on the two remaining steps when it's all said and done.
The promoters have a full schedule again this weekend. If you have a chance between races, you should consider heading on over to the pit wall and watching. The SFR Juniors will be on track first after our race 1, followed by Spec BRZ/86/FRS. After that is MX5 Cup, with the highlight race being the ever popular Pro-Celeb Toyota Yaris race. Sadly, we've not been privy to the list of celebrities or pros that will be appearing. The final support race is the Touring Car Masters, scheduled to be slotted in between our race 2 and 3.
Schedule: Our track time schedule for the event looks like this:
- Practice: 6:45am
- Qualifying: 9:00am
- Race 1: 12:00 noon
- Race 2: 4:00 pm
- Race 3: 5:00 pm
Ballast: Drivers will be assigned ballast weights before qualifying, based on their standing in the championship. Your ballast weight must be set before you take the pavement for qualifying.
Drivers Meeting: There will be a brief drivers meeting prior to the start of qualifying. In it we will cover ballast weights, driving standards, and have time for questions and answers.
