BALLAST: Except for the first race of round 1, success ballast will be awarded before each and every race. For the first race of each meeting, the success ballast is based on your standing in the championship series. For races 2 and 3, your success ballast will be based on the results of the prior race. Success ballast is NOT cumulative. The table below depicts the minimum vehicle weight based on championship and prior race finish position.

Position Weight Position Weight
1st 2,555 (+55kg) 6th 2,482 (+22kg)
2nd 2,531 (+44kg) 7th 2,482 (+22kg)
3rd 2,531 (+44kg) 8th 2,458 (+11kg)
4th 2,507 (+33kg) 9th 2,458 (+11kg)
5th 2,507 (+33kg) 10th+ 2,434 (+0kg)

Ballast weights are the minimum weight your car may weigh. You are free to add more ballast if you want. Vehicles may not weigh more than the maximum weight listed in the table above. Reward ballast may NOT be used to "trim" vehicle handling. All reward ballast must be positioned at the '0%' or dead center position within the car. Drivers that elect to run at weights higher than required must position their ballast at the same 0%/dead center location.

Reward ballast is a means of balancing the playing field. Presence of reward ballast is intended to confer a small competitive disadvantage. It is contrary to the intent of reward ballast for it to be used to gain a competitive advantage based on where within the vehicle it is placed.

LIVERY:

  • Number Plates/Number Balls: Required. One each on the driver's door and passenger door. Size is required to be 38% width and height.
  • Windshield Banner: Required. Display on a white background, scaled at 677%, centered so that the entire banner is visible.
  • Tow hooks must be properly marked. Location of electrical "kill" switch and fire suppression system actuators must be clearly marked.
