Winter 2026 DDRS Spec C5 Cup Series - Round 7 Recap
We were off to the Austrian Alps for Round 7, racing at the challenging and scenic Red Bull Ring. The track's combination of long straights and tight corners provided a great test of the C5's performance and the drivers' skills. The weather—clear and cool despite threatening clouds from time to time—was perfect for racing, and the competition was fierce from start to finish.

Top honors this week to Painless, a 100% clean sweep of the evening with pole position, three wins, and three fastest laps! This is the first time in modern DDRS history that a driver has been this dominant in a single round!

Round 8, the first of the two final rounds is coming up on March 7, 2026. With the drop rounds starting to come into play, the championship is wide open, and every point will be crucial. As always, the room will open at 9:30pm EST, with driver meeting and qualifying starting at 10:00pm.
