Looking at the weather forecast, it looks like the weather may be somewhat variable for practice, qualifying and race 1, but it's looking decidedly gloomy for race 2. But here's where it gets... strange. In a new strategic partnership with Hog Mart School (or something like that; the press release looked like it had bird crap on it and was hard to read at that spot), The event promoters will be testing out some kind of new technical improvement, using the MX-5 Cup series as the first official trial. The new technology is something called TimeTurner™ which they say will provide more track time for each series without impacting the overall weekend schedule. I have no idea how that works, but those in the know assure me it does. "As if by magic," or so they say. We'll see.
